Why Gamer-First Design Matters
Founded in 2017 as a board game club, TFD Studios started with a simple love for playing tabletop, card, and video games together. Over the years, we took the lessons we learned from countless game nights and channeled them into designing our own titles: "Kred" and "Queensberry & Capital," with a third game currently in development.
Along the way, we didn't just learn how games work under the hood; we realized we could use our professional skills—in software engineering, web hosting, technical writing, and woodworking—to help other indie creators bring their ideas to life.
We employ our different areas of expertise to bring about these games with every bit of detail and a gamer's perspective, ensuring that the final product is balanced, fun, and easy to play. We still meet once a month for a full-day gaming session just for the fun of it, keeping us closely connected to what makes tabletop games truly work.
